David Carey ripped the record books by Shooting a history-making Around of 57 during the Cervino Open.
The Irishman fired 11 birdies about the par-68 layout in Italy, giving him a four-shot lead from the event.
Carey’s complete is a shot lesser compared to the PGA Tour record-low round of 58, enrolled by Jim Furyk in the 2016 Travelers Championship, together with Stephan Jaeger formerly submitting a 58 on the Web.com Tour and Ryo Ishikawa on the Japan Golf Tour.
Beginning over the back two, by picking up shots in the 17th and 18th to make it to the turn in 27 Carey opened with birdies after which followed three straight gains.
Before closing his round with back-to-back pars carey added birdies to move 11-under for the afternoon and picked up shots in the very first and third.
The Guinness World Record for the cheapest score is held by Australian participant Rhein Gibson, who fired a 16-under 55 in Oklahoma in 2012 throughout a round in River Oaks Golf Club.
