Alicia is a teacher in her early forties who lives alone with her fourteen-year-old daughter and who tries to survive a constant sentimental loss. Many are the steps taken in that direction, many frustrations, many promising islands appear in her horizon, although most of them are only unfortunate mirages. When she finally has the opportunity to save herself from the shipwreck and the daily light returns, fatality will have already woven a perverse plot that will end up putting everything in danger.
