This is the story of Dolores González (alias “Yoyes”), a woman who made it to the directive committee of ETA (the terrorist-separatist from Basque Country, Spain) in a time when the activities of the band might be justified in some way (the last years of Franco’s dictatorship).
She decided to leave the band once they began to murder civilians. She exiled in Mexico and back to Spain 12 years after to live an ordinary life. ETA shot her in the head in front of her little daughter: they considered her a traitor.

“YOYES” is an intimate and profound film of feelings, with a political background.
It runs from the seventies, in Flash Back, until the end of the eighties, already in real time.
It is narrated from the inside of the main character, a woman who does not conform to the established, who fights for her ideals of freedom, this understood as no frontiers for people and persons. Feminism, the love towards her homeland and its people are also important aspects of the cinematographic story.
