Liverpool’s professional throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark states Jurgen Klopp’s innovative approach to management is really build»something special» in Anfield.
Klopp made headlines last year when he added his coaching staff and Gronnemark together midway.
The Dane, who holds the world record for the maximum throw-in in 51.33m, had an immediate effect on the method of this club’s full-backs – most notably Joe Gomez.
Liverpool went on to assert the sixth European Cup that year and Gronnemark is not surprised to find that the Reds.
«Jurgen is an innovator,» Gronnemark told The Athletic. «He is a leader who claims he does not know everything and is ready to listen to people whenever they have knowledge to take the club forward.
«If you have a leader who wants total control and thinks that he knows best about everything then that will impact the employees.
«Even though you’re among the greatest clubs in the world, it does not mean you have to do the identical thing because you did yesterday. When you fulfill with Jurgen you feel just as if you are speaking with a buddy. He succeeds lots.
«To let a guy into the team who was pretty much unknown in England and convey ‘we want all of your knowledge to place it in the coaching programme’, which shows a great deal of trust and fantastic leadership.
«He is great at getting the best out of individuals. It is a lot more egotistical at clubs. In Liverpool, there’s a satisfaction among the team and the gamers. They feel part of something unique.
«Sometimes I will stop and look at the players facing me and think,’Oh, this is insane’. I’m working.
«Originally , I had a contract to the first half of last year then it had been extended for the second half and now I have one for the complete season.
«I really don’t think many folks are laughing now. I believe most people in football look on it and say’Ok, there must be something inside’.»
