Ronda Rousey will create her long-awaited return to the Octagon when she challenges Amanda Nunes to the UFC women’s bantamweight title at UFC 207. Rousey has not fought because she dropped the belt in her single career loss — to Holly Holm in UFC 193.
Rousey’s biggest attributes are her aggression and skill. «Rowdy» has never gone into the judges’ scorecards in her 13-fight professional career with 11 career victories via first-round stoppage. She is constantly pushing the speed and has fluid grappling skills to establish her entry game. However, it became evident in the Holm struggle she can be frustrated and saddened by an opponent with good footwork.
Nunes rarely goes to conclusion either, as she’s gone the distance only twice in her 17 pro fights. She’s technically solid on the toes with huge power in her hands. More often than not, she uses her wrestling capability to take the fight to the mat and utilize vicious ground and pound to finish her competitor. «The Lioness» has been proven to gasoline out, though, along with her hyper-aggressive style means that the longer the battle goes, the worse it gets to your winner.
UFC 207 will happen on December 30.
